Our Mission
The Bangladesh Relief Fund is an Ohio not-for-profit corporation (Tax ID #: 20-1527760, IRS Ruling) organized to raise and distribute funds for poverty alleviation in Bangladesh. It was formed by Mr. Muhit Rahman, an expatriate Bangladeshi American, in August, 2004 in response to the devastating floods of 2004. Mr. Rahman is being advised by his longtime friend, Ms. Sally Bachman, a journalist living in Northern California.
