Soccer Uniform Recycling Drive
Soccer is "the source of an infinitely renewable supply of hope, occasionally miraculous."
--Sean Wiley, Author, The Thinking Fan's Guide to the World Cup
After the fall soccer season, the Bangladesh Relief Fund collects gently used soccer uniforms to distribute to needy youngsters in Bangladesh. In 2005, BRF collected more than 250 uniforms from families in the Cincinnati area. Bangladeshi youngsters and young adults in the villages of Bharatkhali, Dollah, and Beramariah were delighted to don the jerseys. This year, BRF is working to expand the recycling drive to bring together more Cincinnati communities and more Bangladeshi youth. We invite your community to join the drive. Contact us at info@bangladeshrelief.org.
