Poster Slogans

When everyone gives a little, it can make a world of difference.

Hang posters around your school to publicize the WFP fundraiser. Here are slogans we used in our posters. You're welcome to use them, too.

• Got Change? 19 cents buy lunch for a poor student in a developing nation
• A $5.00 Starbuck’s latte = 20 school lunches in a developing nation
• Every 4 minutes a child dies of starvation. You can make a difference.
• You know how hard it is to study on an empty stomach. So does she…. (Image of a low-income child from a developing nation)
• In impoverished countries…. A free lunch draws hungry children to school. At school, these children learn new skills. Their new skills help them break free of poverty.

Each of these slogans is followed by this refrain:
